VERASPRITES WERE AGENTS BEFORE AGENTICS BECAME A FIELD...
FIRST LAUNCH: Kiosk Exhibitor for the Digital Health Summer Summit in 2016. While our VeraSprites that were designed to assist physicians in communicating wih remote patients or participants in clinical trials were initially well received, many of the doctors raised concerns about indentity protection. So, we dealt with this problem far before today's Agents dealing with "deep fakes".
BACK TO R&D: In 2016 we attended the Blockchain Conference in San Francisco. From then to now, we developed a system using cryptographic hashing of our photo-realistic agents and their ecosystem. We built an in-house blockchain, developed hashing techniques and file formats along with swarm storage for data and smart contracts to process data retrieval from the blockchain. We then incorporated all these elements into a dual authentication of digital identity for use in a distributed network. Because our VeraSprites are constructed of bitmaps, they can be hashed serially to produce a final number capturing full facial expression including mouth positions for phonemes, a unique identifier for speech. Downloadable to hand-held devices from the Apple AppStore, our VeraSprite app is driven by metadata stored in a specialized file format also hashed and stored on the blockchain. Because our system resides in Azure cloud and the data used for dual authentication are networked swarms, our technology is scalable.
PATENTS: To protect this extensive R&D and working models, we applied for patents. 4 of the 7 granted patents apply to distributed networks including US 11989813 B2, "Talking Head Digital Identity Dual Authentication on a Distributed Network"; Inventors Roberta Jean Smith and Nicolas Antczak, Granted May 21, 2024.
Continuation-in-Part, US 12155771 B2, to incorporate hashed watermarks to brand and enhance personalization of identity and/or sponsorship. Granted November 26,2024.
Continuation-in-Part, US 12335403 B2, to incorporate a method for restating and hashing 3-D meshes of faces for use in applications requiring authentication of 3-D avatars. Granted June 17, 2025.
